Eximbank's unrestricted-use loan to North Macedonia
According to the government statement, Eximbank provided an unrestricted-use loan to North Macedonia in two tranches at an annual interest rate of 3.25 percent, with the Hungarian state guaranteeing the full amount and the interest equalisation burdening the Hungarian budget. The previous government decided on the loan in an individual decision, and the disbursement conditions were approved by Economy Minister Márton Nagy; the Ministry of Economy and Energy filed a criminal complaint in the case.
